Hello friends.  So, the time has finally come! God has led me to route 5 on the world race gap year.  Now you’re probably wondering, “0k Esther we get it, God has led you to route 5 but where will you be going?”  Well I’ll tell you!  On route 5 my team and I will be traveling to Romania, India, and Costa Rica!! I know crazy right?!?!  “COOL, but just WHAT will you be doing in each country?” I’m just about to get to that!

Let’s start with the first country I will be visiting, Draganesti Olt, Romania. While in Romania my team and I will be partnering with Hope Church to reach the locals and beyond. So, what does that look like?  Well it may involve collecting and passing out much needed eyeglasses to those in need.  The eyeglasses meet a physical need, but the spiritual need is even greater.  For this we’ll give Bibles written in the local language to at risk communities. These are only some of the things we will be doing, so stay tuned to hear the exciting details of what we do when we are there! Now did someone say something about India?

Why yes! Manipur, India in fact!  India will be the second place I visit in my world race gap year expedition.  There we will be working alongside our Adventures in Missions’ partner, Bibles for the World.  Bibles for the World’s mission is to reach the unreached communities and share the gospel with them. They also desire to raise godly and well-educated children along with networking and encouraging Indian Churches and Christian communities. Those are just a couple of things we will be involved in while we stay in India.

Where to next? Costa Rica!!  Whoop whoop!!  San Jose, Costa Rica to be exact. As with Romania and India, we will be partnering with several different partners of Adventure in Missions in San Jose. Some of the serving possibilities might involve teaching dance or English to the children there, sharing the gospel in the local neighborhoods, or even doing community projects in slums affected by gang violence and poverty.  Whatever God has for me, stay tuned for all the details in upcoming blogs!

So yes, those are all the countries I will be visiting and serving in the span of 9 months!  I’m so extremely grateful and blessed to have the opportunity to serve in these places.  God is so incredibly good!  If you are interested in partnering with me on this next step of my journey, all you have to do is press the donate button above or if can’t donate, prayer is one of the most powerful things you can do to share in this work. So, whether you help financially or send a little prayer be assured you are advancing the Kingdom of God!  Thank you so much and God bless!!
