There have been a lot of plan b’s this year. And almost every single time a plan b has come up, I have felt disappointed. But God has been so amazing in teaching me that his plan is ALWAYS better and that my hope will never be let down if it is in him. So, I should explain what has happened and why I am staying at home for the next six weeks. Well, due to Covid, the world race gap year squads will not be returning to Gainesville, Georgia, till we launch overseas in January. For my squad, we will be launch on the 5th of January. So, I will be home for a while, and I honestly am excited to see what the Lord has in store for me while I am home here in Ohio. I know it is going to be better than anything that I could imagine, and yes, I am sad I won’t be able to see my squad for a little bit. I know this is a short blog, but I just wanted to update you guys on what’s happening, and I will still be blogging all while I am home as well. Until next time, Esther Collins.
Hang in there!
Today I felt like Psalm 5, verse 11 really spoke to me about this situation for all of you. I think maybe this is God’s protection over you so that you can be ready to do some amazing things in your international service.
I know it is hard to be away from your new family, but having some extra time with your regular family is such a blessing. We are thankful for the extra days with our racer 🙂
I am sure that the Lord has plans for you in Ohio! We have been praying for you, especially during your time with COVID. Glad you will be home with your family for a while so that you can rest up for the big adventure! Maybe we will see you over the holidays.
Glad you are safe at home Esther! God knows all, and places us where He can use us at specific times for specific purposes..! He has a magnificent work for you, and you clearly have a willing and humble heart. It was a pleasure to serve with you! I pray only the best for you always..!
